Message From TCAPS Board of Education

Trustee Bird’s Board seat will be filled as an interim position beginning April 28, 2025 through December 31, 2026. To be eligible, a candidate must be a registered voter in the TCAPS district, at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, a resident of the State of Michigan for at least 30 days, and a resident of the school district on or before the 30^th day prior to the date of the election. Property ownership is not a requirement.

Candidates:
The interim Board member will be selected by the Board of Education at the April 28, 2025 Study Session at 6:00 p.m. at the Northwest Education Services Administration Building Conference Center, 1101 Red Oak Drive, Traverse City, MI 49684. The board will vote and a candidate will be appointed at the Study Session on April 28, 2025. The appointed board member will take the Oath of Office at that meeting or will need to report to TCAPS Administration Building at Glenn Loomis, 1009 S. Oak Street, Traverse City, MI 49684 before 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
