      TCAPS Virtual Meeting Notice for June 2020 Monday, June 8, 2020 at 6:00 pm – Regular Board Meeting Monday, June 22, 2020 at 6:00 pm – Board Study Session REASON: COVID-19 Community Gathering Restrictions These meetings will be conducted remotely as identified below and will not be held at theTompkins Boardman Administration Building. Instructions regarding viewing: Meetings will be broadcast live on Cable Channel 190 and live streamed at: Traverse City Area Public Schools recognizes the importance of not bringing people together unnecessarily in an effort to stopthe spread of the COVID-19. Therefore, the Tompkins Boardman Administration Building has been closed for the foreseeablefuture. TCAPS Board Members will not be present for board meetings until further notice. TCAPS Board members can beemailed directly at or individually at the email addresses listed below: Board President, Sue Kelly – Board Trustee, Jane Klegman – Board Vice President, Jeff Leonhardt – Board Trustee, Ben McGuire – Board Secretary, Pam Forton – Board Trustee, Erica Moon Mohr – Board Treasurer, Matt Anderson – Board meetings will continue to be broadcast live on Cable Channel 190 and will be streamed live at: For individuals who wish to give public comment, please complete the Public Comment Request form prior to the start of themeeting you wish to speak at. After completing the online Public Comment Request form, you will be provided with a phonenumber and PIN to access the Google Hangout Meet. If you do not receive this information, please contact the moderatorat 231-933-3308. This form can also be found on the Board’s page of the district website at You willneed to call in and wait in a "virtual waiting room" where microphones will be muted by a moderator. When it is your turn tospeak, you will be identified by your name and the last two (2) digits of your phone number and you will need to push *6 tounmute your microphone.During the public comment portion of the agenda, callers will be identified in the order the Public Comment Requests werereceived. The moderator will identify the caller by their name and the last two (2) digits of their telephone number and askthem if they would like to make a comment. Please identify yourself by full name and address when you are called on. Anindividual may make public comment for up to three (3) minutes. The Board will not respond to public comment. We askthat concerns or comments directed toward individuals be made privately or in writing to the Superintendent, designee, orBoard of Education President.
