Traverse City Area Public Schools Spring 2025 Navigator

Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) achieved the Certificate of Excellence (COE) in Financial Reporting for the 20th consecutive year for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) presented the award to TCAPS for the fiscal year 2024.

Our TCAPS community mourns the loss of School Board Trustee Holly T. Bird who passed away April 2. Trustee Bird began her role with the Board of Education on January 1, 2023, and served on the curriculum, finance, and sustainability committees during her tenure.

TCAPS will soon celebrate the completion of two construction projects at both Central High School and West Senior High School. The schools’ Innovation and Manufacturing Centers will officially each host a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 10 to showcase the new spaces.
