TCAPS 2024-2025 Academic Calendar Announced
Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) is pleased to share the academic calendar for 2024-2025 is finalized and available to view, along with building start and end times.
Building times have been slightly adjusted where necessary to comply with state requirements.
In keeping with tradition, TCAPS will begin after Labor Day on Tuesday, September 3. The calendar includes two full weeks for the winter break, beginning after school on December 20 and students returning on January 6, 2025.
“Districts have many state requirements to incorporate into the calendar,” commented Superintendent Dr. John R. VanWagoner. “We appreciate the collaboration of all who were involved in this extensive process and are pleased to have finalized our calendar.”
As with previous years, the calendar includes potential school days June 12-18, 2025 for any make-up days required by law due to cancellation days. Pending no additional days are needed, the school year will conclude with a half day on June 11, 2025.
