Daily Announcements - Nov. 8

Winter Sports are just around the corner! Any student-athlete interested in basketball, bowling, sideline cheer, ski, or wrestling must sign up on FinalForms. For more information, visit the athletic department or www.tctrojanpride.com. Go Trojans!!

  • Congrats to Varsity Volleyball for sweeping West last night 3-0. Come out this Saturday at 1pm as they take on Mt. Pleasant at home in the district finals. No passes accepted because it is a tournament game. Good luck and Go Trojans!

  • On November 12th, Alma College will be here from 9-10am and Lake Superior State University from 2-3pm to meet with interested students in the Cafe. Sign up in the LMC to attend.

  • Northwest Ed program will be coming around TODAY at 1pm to collect recycling bins. Please place your blue recycling bin outside of your classroom door prior to 5th hour so our students can help pick up your recycling. 

  • Are you interested in joining the National Honor Society this year? Join the NHS Applicant Google Classroom using code if62mc4 and complete your application. See Mrs. Puckett in C257 if you have questions.

  • Student Senate is hosting a Pet Food Drive now through Wednesday, November 13th. Students are encouraged to bring in pet food or gently used pet supplies. Please drop off donations in the boxes outside of each wing office or the main office. This drive is a competition against Traverse City West to see who can get the most supplies!

  • All CHS Students and Staff are invited to see the final dress rehearsal for the fall musical, Seussical, on Thursday, Nov. 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium for free! There will be a suggested $5 donation contribution to help offset the costs of the production. No assigned seating - doors open at 5:45 pm. Please come and show your support for the cast, pit orchestra, student tech. and staff who have been rehearsing since the last week of August.

  • Are you interested in musical theater and looking for an opportunity to perform or learn more? CHS has a new club that’s looking for singers to join and show off their talents in a supportive environment! Please join the Google classroom using the code 2ulwwf6 by Monday to indicate your interest in the Rendezvous Club!

  • Students who are interested in an amazing adventure of exploring Japan in 2026 can attend the parent interest meeting held on November 20, 2024 at 6:00 pm in room C140.

  • LEAP is looking for a few Juniors or Seniors to referee 4th and 5th grade basketball. We pay $15 per game or the hours can be used toward community service.
