Great Titan/Trojan Read
The fifth annual reading contest, that pits each grade level (including staff) against one another, was short and sweet this year at both middle schools. In just four short weeks, nearly 500 book tickets were collectively submitted by 178 participants. In the end, it was the seventh grade, Class of 2029, that prevailed at each campus!
These readers were invited to the Winners Celebration where amazing prizes, donated by extremely generous local businesses, were raffled off to salute the students’ commitment to the reading habit. Brilliant Books supplied each TOP Titan/Trojan Grade Level Reader (listed below) with a $20 gift card to help fund their summer reading. Additionally, the following local businesses generously donated gifts that are sure to enhance our readers’ summers with fun activities and delectable treats: ELEV8 Climbing and Fitness, Handz On Art, Incredible Mo’s, Jimmy John’s, Lucky Jacks, Moomers, Pirates Cove Adventure Golf, Pop-Kies Gourmet Popcorn, Moomers Homemade Ice Cream, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Cherry Republic, and Rocket Fizz Soda Pop & Candy Shop.
