Daily Announcements - January 13

The Winterfest Dance is Friday, January 24th from 8-10pm in the small gym; this is a semi-formal event.  Tickets are $5 each and will be sold during both lunches next week. This dance is for TCAPS students ONLY.

  • Second Semester Schedule Changes: If you need to request a change, please fill out the online Schedule Change Form by January 22nd at midnight. Check PowerSchool regularly to see if your request has been approved. If there’s an issue, your counselor will contact you via email by January 24th. Remember, you must attend all your current classes until your schedule is officially updated. Stay on top of your Powerschool and TCAPS email for any updates.

  • This past Friday, your Girls' Basketball team claimed a decisive 52-34 victory over TC West, improving their conference record to an impressive 4-0. Lucia France led the charge with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals. Jakiah Brumfield made a strong impact with 9 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Marlie McGregor contributed 9 points and 5 steals, while Lorelai Zielinski dominated the boards with 11 rebounds, adding 4 points. It was a well-rounded team performance, with every player stepping up to secure the win. Great job, Trojans!

  • The Cultural Diversity Club will be meeting Wednesday, January 15 at 7:30am in room 258. All are welcome to join.

  • Congratulations to Choral-Aires, Vocal Majority, Men of Note and all vocal soloists/duets for their outstanding performances at the District MSVMA Solo & Ensemble Festival on Saturday, January 11th at West Sr. High. All ensembles and 30 soloists received a "1" rating and will be moving on to the State level in April.
