The popular musical takes place on an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy Number 13, "Moonface" Martin, aid Billy in his quest to win Hope.
The show has a cast of 40 students, who have been rehearsing the show since December. It also features a pit orchestra of 23 student musicians, as well as professional musicians Joshua Wagner (trumpet) and Jeanmarie Riccobono (clarinet). Eight students serve as the tech crew.
Anything Goes, written by Cole Porter, premiered on Broadway in 1934. It has been revived many times and some of the songs are pop and jazz standards including "Anything Goes", "You're the Top", "All Through the Night", and "I Get a Kick Out of You".
